Aggregate v0.9.2

We recently posted an updated release for Aggregate version 0.9.2. This
release is simply packaging the many fixes that have been requested and were
already implemented and checked into the Aggregate development tree but had
not become part of the installer. *The largest change to Aggregate that will
affect most users is the requirement that any form uploaded to Aggregate is
required to provide an unique identifier either using the id attribute or
the xmlns attribute. *While Aggregate is the first ODK tool to implement the
form id requirement, enforcement of the unique id requirement is planned for
the rest of the ODK tools.

*Summary of Fixes/Updates:

  • Requires an unique identifier either using the id attribute or the
    xmlns attribute.
  • The code in aggregate has been fixed to support the larger images from
    their phone
  • Better support for Fusion tables.
  • Fixes of issues listed on the old Google code site (such as 114, 116,

*Aggregate 1.x Update:
*The standards debate on the Server API in the OpenROSA/JavaROSA community
has stalled several times which continues to push the release of Aggregate
1.0 back as we are reluctant to code to a non existent standard. However,
the ODK team does plan to have something out this summer with or without a
standard as we can't stall development forever. We feel it's important to
move the project forward so this is not an open ended delay; however, it's
important to be a good member/partner in open source standards development
and be interoperable with the similar tools.
