**1. What is the issue? Please be detailed.** I'm trying to create a widget shortcut on my Android Home Screen to link directly into a form as talked about [here](https://forum.getodk.org/t/android-home-screen-widget-not-working/42753) and [here](https://forum.getodk.org/t/create-shortcut-of-a-form-in-home-screen-still-relevant-for-form-that-seldom-changed-what-about-for-form-that-frequently-changed/54519/3). When I do this it doesn't successfully create the widget. Google Pixel 6 Pro ODK Collect 2025.3.0 Beta 0 Android 16 **2. What steps can we take to reproduce this issue?** Long tap on home screen to open add widget dialogue in Android. Add ODK widget, select form, dialogue closes without creating anything. **3. What have you tried to fix the issue?** Not sure what else to do, seems like a bug. **4. Upload any forms or screenshots you can share publicly below.** Here is a screen capture of the behavior. It basically gets to the form screen and when tapping the form title, it just closes and nothing happens. I don't know why I hadn't considered this before, but having this widget would help improve workflows for illiterate folks, ESPECIALLY if the icon could be changed/customized, but thats a different issue. ---

I want to make sure you saw Collect v2025.2.3 was released a couple of weeks ago and should fix the issue! ---

I'm using Collect 2025.3.0 Beta 2 and it's still showing the same behavior…is that supposed to be like that? ---

Yes, 2025.3.0 Beta 2 was released on August 1, but the fix went into version 2025.2.3, which was released on August 7.
