Any tips on how to juggle a date question

Hey everybody,
I'd like to ask a question (q1) and if the answer is yes then require
the respondent to fill in start and end dates. If the answer to q1 is no
I'd like to make the start and end dates either blank dates or a default
date that we know would mean blank like 99/99/9999
I saw from earlier post's that blank dates isn't quite possibly. Any
pro tips?
I'm aware I could use the relevant to skip the questions, but because of
the survey length/complexity I'd like to keep the set of questions on the
same page.
Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill,

I think you've described your options well. Either use relevancy or
have the user manually enter blank dates. I think a blank/null option
to the date widget is a good idea. Perhaps you can file a feature
request and someone may contribute it.

Thanks,

Yaw
