App Engine with Aggregate very slow

Has anyone else experienced an extremely laggy connection? The main
window comes up quickly where I can see my applications but when I try
to load an application I keep getting server errors or page not
loading. If I try again and again I can finally get in after about 20
minutes. Is there some box that I need to check or some other setting
that will help this?

On the appengine dashboard (via https://appengine.google.com ), down at the
lower left of the lefthand sidebar, there is "System Status" which points
to http://code.google.com/status/appengine

Today shows "investigating" for Java, which is a very very rare thing.
Click on that, and you get this stunning graph:

AppEngine infrastructure definitely had trouble earlier today.
