Barcode

Greetings all,

I went through some of the earlier posts on ODK Community but did not find
the answer to this question - so forgive me if it has already been
answered. When using the barcode reader the qrreader application opens and
saves the data to the application but not within the form itself. Is there
a fix to this or a way to get this data aggregated with the rest of the
form? The form that we want to develop looks at post-disaster casualty
tracking using barcodes as the mechanism by which bodies are tracked. There
would be additional data on the form but I need to correlate the barcode to
the remainder of the data.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,
I use this barcode scanner on my tablet and it stores codes in the form
fine.
Are you using the reccomended barcode scanning app? it also is enabled for
QR codes.
