Beta testers wanted for ODK Aggregate VM

Nafundi has created an virtual machine of ODK Aggregate v1.2.0 and we
are looking for beta testers! We are particularly looking for people
at organizations that currently use (or might want to use) ODK for
work.

The virtual machine (VM) is a preinstalled and preconfigured version
of Aggregate. Instead of running on a server or in the cloud, it runs
in one file and one window on your computer. The benefits are:

  • Few clicks to set-up. No need to install or configure Java, Tomcat, MySQL.
  • Designed for offline. Use it over Wi-Fi as an ODK Briefcase replacement.
  • Quick backup and recovery. Take snapshots automatically or on demand.
  • Reduced risk of viruses and malware. VM is isolated from computer.
  • More control. You decide when, where, and how the VM works.
  • Portable. Move from one computer or server to another.
  • Few clicks to remove. Just throw the VM file in the trash.

If you are interested in trying it out, apply by filling out the short
form at http://goo.gl/99d4B.

Last call for beta testers! If you are interested in trying out the
ODK Aggregate VM go to http://goo.gl/99d4B.
