BUMP - Matrix Format for ODK Survey

Hello,

I posted this on 12/19 and haven't received any responses. I wanted to bump
this post and see if anyone might have some insight. We appreciate your
time!

We are using ODK for some development surveys (University of Michigan), and
would like to include a matrix or table format on the handheld where we
input numeric values (we know this can be done for single answer
selection). There has been some back-and-forth in the office as to how
possible this is. So, can it be done?

Thanks for the response!

We support this type of data input in a custom version of ODK Collect 1.X.

Note that there are two tools that collect surveys on the device, ODK
Collect (current, released tool), and ODK Survey (in beta).

For ODK Collect, the main codebase does not support this.

For ODK Survey, it is all HTML-based, so you have extreme control over your
survey layout.
