Call a hyperlink from Collect

Hi,

I would like to call a hyperlink via url out of the collect application to
show a special map.

Is this possible or do I need special Keywords to format a hyperlink?

Regards,

Martin

Collect does not support hyperlinks in its label or text field areas.

Code changes would be required. If you used something like the 3rd party
string value widget to launch the browser, it would still require code
modification to get the url specified in the form into the intent request.

The code changes are minor. The trickier thing is how this might be
integrated into the XForms model. The easiest integration would be to
treat the external app as returning a string (like the 3rd party string
value widget), even though there would be no such return value (so it would
always appear to return a null value).

Hi Mich,

Thanks for your Answer. I thought it could be integrated like the Google
Maps View in the Geolocation Widget. That would be a very smart
integration, because I don't have to leave the app.

Many Thanks for the great ODK Collect and Applikations. It's really an easy
Way to collect data and easy to design the forms. Great Work.
