Cancel a new repeat group once started?

Hi,

We have a couple instances of repeat groups in the survey we are running. On occasion, our data collectors will accidentally click 'add group' one time too many, and then are not able to correct that mistake (if they scroll back to the previous page, then forward, there is no more option to cancel). They have to enter a dummy group and then tell us about it later and we have to manually fix it in the exported data. We have set all the fields within the group to 'required' because we need each field per valid group.

I know the best solution is for the collectors to be careful in the first place, but sometimes they just slip up and there is no way they can fix it on the phone. Once the 'add group' button is selected, there's no way to cancel. Has this problem been seen before and does anyone have solutions?

Nick,

Do a long press on one of the prompts in your group (easiest to do a
long press on the question/prompt/label text). It will give you a menu
option to remove the group.
