Cannot edit Finalised forms ODK collect

why finalised forms cannot be edited is there any specific reason for not enabling edit feature in the ODK android app

Finalized forms will not be editable starting in Collect v2023.4

In Collect v2023.1 and prior, forms that are finalized are accessible from "Edit Saved Form" and can be modified. In Collect v2023.2 and v2023.3, finalized forms are editable from "Ready to send" by tapping on the filled form name. We introduced this as a grace period as we provide more functionality and documentation for users who would like to continue making edits to filled forms until a certain point in time.
