I have tried 20 times to get the token accepted, tried all the instructions.
Fail, fail, fail
I cannot even get to use the whole ODK program because of this.
I have tried on firefox and chrome, loaded latest versions of java and aggregate 1.9.48.
Just emailing that it doesn't work does not enable anyone to help you solve
your difficulties.
(0) What type of computer are you using? Windows / MacOSX / Linux variant?
(1) Are you using the ODK Aggregate 1.4.13 installer? Download it from
here: https://opendatakit.org/downloads/download-category/aggregate/
(2) The Google Cloud Platform project id / application MUST NOT be created
as a Google Apps Domain project.
(3) When running the installer, it is apparently important for the
application id (project id) to be in EXACTLY the same lowercase / uppercase
form as shown on Google Cloud Platform. If your project is "myapp" on GCP,
you CANNOT enter "MyApp" in the installer. It will fail (this is apparently
a recent change at Google).
(4) Before launching the upload tool, open your default browser, go to
gmail.com, and Sign Out (click top right icon and choose "Sign Out"). And
CLOSE ALL WINDOWS for that browser. Then open that browser, go to gmail.com,
sign in with the same gmail account as you used when you created the Google
Cloud Platform account.
Launch the upload tool. I assume you are doing all of the above correctly.
(Q1:) Does it open your default browser to a page where you are asked to
allow access to your gmail account?
(Q2:) After allowing access, can you select-all in the text box and copy to
clipboard? Note that the token is much wider than the visible text. You
need to carefully select the entire text in that box.
(Q3:) Are you able to locate the pop-up window in which to paste the
token? And choose OK?
(Q4:) After you choose OK, there should be some output scrolling in the
upload tool window. The output should end with "status : Action Succeeded!".
Does it? e.g., here is an example output:
