Irum,

If you want to use KoBoForm to build in your Cascading Selections, you may
find it a lot easier. KoBoForms are fully compatible with ODK Collect, so
you can inter-operate freely. We do a lot with cascading selections, so
it's been a feature we put some work into.

There is an instructional video that will tell you how to do it (Bottom of
page, Tutorial #5) : KoBoForm Video
Tutorialshttp://www.kobotoolbox.org/node/102

If you need more details, you can get them in the user guide:
http://www.kobotoolbox.org/support/userguide/koboform/cascadingselect

Dear Neil,

I agree but the only problem I am facing is that my location list is more than 5000 and I have to out PCodes. Which means manually entering them in the KOBO.

Irum,

You can just import the whole set as a CSV.

Just set up your CSV with the administrative area titles across the top.
One row for each final level selection.

Region,Sub-Region,Country
Africa,Eastern Africa,Burundi
Africa,Eastern Africa,Comoros
Africa,Eastern Africa,Djibouti
Africa,Eastern Africa,Eritrea
Africa,Eastern Africa,Ethiopia
Africa,Eastern Africa,Kenya
Africa,Eastern Africa,Madagascar

Then, use the Add Data Import CSV function.

Copy and paste in your CSV. Give it a name, click import.
KoBoForm will auto generate a set of questions for you using this data set.
