Hi,
We have been using ODK collect for some time and is it excellent, but
we have a small but annoying problem, that is some of the multimedia
feature i.e. record voice, video, image do not work on all devices. So
for example record does not work on the Samsung galaxy or video does
not work on the HTC wildfire. It seems to be down to the app that is
called to do the recording. Does anyone know how to change which app
ODK collect calls when recording? Any ideas appreciated.

sorry you are having problems. we launch the recording applications in
the way recommended by the android team. unfortunately, some android
phone builds either have bugs or custom applications that don't
conform to those recommendations.
what version of android are you running? what carrier did you get the
phones from? do the phones have the "sound recorder" and "camera"
applications? are said applications being launched? please put the
answers to these questions in a bug report at
http://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/issues/list
