Common option in every filter (SurveyCTO)

Hey all, I'm new here so I hope I'm asking at the right place.

I'm working with SurveyCTO, and the problem I've encountered is that I want a choice called "Other" in the potential choices for "select_one .." regardless of what filter I use. The filter is like: filter=${AAAA}, so that there are many possible filters that I could get, depending on the value of AAAA.

The way I've been working around this is adding an "Other" in the "choices" sheet, for every single possible value of AAAA. As you can see, this would become implausible as I get more and more potential values of AAAA later on.

Is there a simple way to have a common "Other" option in the choices, regardless of the filter?

Thanks in advance for your help and time!

You can modify the choice_filter expression.

So if your other option in your choices sheet looks like this:

       list name value label filter_value

mylist 888 Other 888

Then you could set the choice_filter column to something like this

${some_question} = filter_value or filter_value = 888

regards

Neil
