We need a server that can (1) distribute blank (encrypted) forms to tablets with ODK Collect installed, (2) receive completed (encrypted) forms from those tablets (over an encrypted channel), and (3) provide to a (separate) ODK Briefcase server those encrypted forms (over an encrypted channel), for future de-crypting and processing.
We installed "Onadata" (https://github.com/onaio/onadata), believing this would provide all three requirements above.
We are excruciatingly close to it working EXCEPT the tablets' ODK Collect clients refuse to connect to the server AND the ODK Briefcase server refuses to connect to the server. (These things fail EVEN THOUGH I am able to connect just fine in a browser!)
Before I spend any more time trying to troubleshoot, I was hoping for confirmation that we "can" do those three things with Onadata (https://github.com/onaio/onadata) OR confirmation that we simply need to install "ODK Aggregate".
Thanks for any info.
Andy
This question is best asked on the Ona support list. https://ona.io/home/
Encrypted forms and Briefcase Pull are ODK-specific extensions to the
common OpenRosa standard. Ona may or may not support them.

Andy,
I can confirm that you CAN do what you describe with ODK Aggregate.
