Connect to server?

I just installed ODK Collect 1.3 (1030) on my Nexus 7 tablet. When it
starts up, all I see is 5 buttons ("Fill Blank Form" to "Delete Saved
Form"). There is no "Menu" button for me to set a new and different server.
So...how do I do that? Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Try this version:

In the course of trying to get ODK Collect to appear as downloadable to
wifi-only tablets http://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/issues/detail?id=804
and to apply a fix that can reduce the likelihood of crashes on forms with
complex formulas
http://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/issues/detail?id=838I made the
slight changes needed to advance the ODK Collect user interface
to the Android 3.x and 4.x design guidelines.

This has led to a number of Forced Close events in our testing, so we need
your help in testing to identify any other crashes. They appear to be
Android OS version or device specific.

Additionally, there is a question of whether we should proceed to release
ODK Collect with this new look-and-feel.

A testing-only version of ODK Collect with this new UI is here:

Hi Mitch:

I learned from another answer that "Menu" had been changed to "3 dots" in
recent Android versions. Using the 3 dots I was able to establish my server.

I tried your new 1032.apk. I note the blue instead of gold color on
selected buttons. On my 32GB Nexus 7, running Android 4.2.2, it starts up
and runs ok. I can get my needed form from my server, and fill it out. I
can save it. When I Send Finalized Form, I get a screen saying "Nothing
Available to Display. Try finalizing saved forms before saving." When I
saved the form the "Finalize Form" checkbox was checked. Is this normal to
get this screen when you have checked the Finalize Form box?

Thanks for your work on this,

Alan

Hi Mitch:

One last note...
My form is in Spanish and English.
However, when I open it up on my Android tablet, I do not get the choice of
language. It comes up in Spanish only.
Is this a bug or a feature?

Hi Alan,

The first language in the form is what shows up by default. Once you
open up the form, you can tap the menu button (now the three dots
button), and change the language.
