Copy & Paste from screen in ODK

Hi!

I was trying to do a Copy & Paste from text shown on the screen in ODK and I wasn't able to.

I am trying to get input from patients to understand their eating habits and then copy and paste the results onto a charting App to show them the "eat well plate" in comparison to the information that I just gathered.

I found this really cool app that lets you paste the info in order to create the chart (https://play.google.com/store/search?q=chart%20creator) but I wasn't able to select and copy the text from ODK

Any ideas?

Thank you!!

Yael

Nice find Yael! Off-hand reply, how about sending the results to a text
field instead of displaying them as a note, which couldn't be used for
selecting/copying text?

Hi Nik

Thanks for your answer.

I actually tried that but I need to do some calculations in order to show the output and I can't seem to display variable contents on a text field. Is there a way to do this?

Also, text fields are not copyable but I got into the code and found a way to make them so. If I can get to show variables on a text field I am set!

I appreciate your help

Cheers,
Yael

The only issue I had was the missing line break between the data series
which I had to put in manually but that's minor.

Check out the screenshots I made of the small example I wrote:

By the way, these are text fields, and they are copyable. You're probably
thinking of labels or notes.
