CSV problems

Hi all,
I realise this has been posted before but I just wondered if there were any
updates.

I have forms made in Formhub, which are then used with ODK collect- I have
then tried uploading the data using Kobo Post Processor (because I'm unsure
if we'll have an internet connection in the field) and ODK Aggregate. Both
have issues with the CSV files and my looped data questions (individuals
within a household).

Kobo give me all my looped answers in one column with no separation. And
ODK aggregate gives me a CSV with an URL for the looped data or a JSON
which I can then import into excel, but the headings for my questions are
in the same cell as the answers. So neither ideal.

From reading previous posts about this, it seems ODK briefcase is the way
to go- is this still the case? I'm trying to keep the data download as
simple as possible as it will be done nightly by people who are not
necessarily overly comfortable with technology.

Thanks in advance,
Jackie

Jackie,

ODK Briefcase is the most reliable way to get CSVs with repeats from
ODK Aggregate. Try it and see if it address your problem.
