Custom map integration?

I am wondering if it is possible to incorporate custom maps/floor plans
into ODK Collect? Our users will be going into buildings to collect samples
and since GPS doesn't work indoors, we were thinking of making floor plans
available for markup. Or possibly even tying into ArcGIS maps we already
have. Are we able to integrate our own maps somehow?

Thanks for your help.

Jason,

Haven't thought hard about this, but I bet the easiest thing to do is
to extend the image annotation widget (see
http://opendatakit.org/help/form-design/examples/#image_prompts) to
support question images you bundle with the forms.

If you want something like Google Maps but with your own layers start
with https://code.google.com/p/osmdroid or
http://www.nutiteq.com/nutiteq-sdk and integrate that with ODK
Collect.

Or if you have the $$s for an organizational Google Maps license, you can
add/extract your own maps there. ODK Collect 1.4 has a new Maps v2 widget
that should be able to work with custom map tiles.
