Data preloading (dynamic) concern

Dear All,

I have to conduct two surveys:

  1. Basic farmer profiling
  2. Crop production of farmers.

I understand that to fetch some of the details from the previous form I
need to upload that file (csv format) and call details using some
identifier.

But here the issue is both the surveys will happen simultaneously.

Consider a case:

I did a basic farmer profile of 100 surveys and uploaded the csv file.
After that I did 101th survey of farmer profile, can I still pull these
details of 101th farmer in my second form in some way?

Thanks & Regards,

Swapnil Agarwal

This is not supported in the 1.x tools.

This functionality is what the 2.0 tools are being created to handle.

Survey CTO and others have solutions using the 1.x tools that somewhat
handle your use case. Look at the offerings of those tools.

Its possible that Smap Server, which is a 1.x tool will meet your need.
You can re-upload csv files which creates a new version of all the forms
that reference that csv. Here is a video showing the process more or less
in line with what I think you are after.

note fieldTask is odkCollect wrapped in a different user interface.
odkCollect is included as an Android library to handle form completion.

Neil
