Delete Image on phone after image sent with ODK form in ODK collect

I need image to be deleted from phone memory after image captured in ODK form and sent with the form.
As we have privacy concern for images saved on phone memory/gallery.

Is it possible do it on ODK collect?

Welcome to the community.

It's not possible to automatically do that in collect app.

To be precise, Collect makes a copy of the image when you take the picture. If you delete the submissions, that copy is deleted, but the original image remains.

I can imagine this being a useful feature to add to Collect. @mehra, if you agree, can you write up a feature description at https://forum.getodk.org/c/features explaining more about why this feature is needed?
