Deploying ODK on a different server

Hi,

I am an ODK user with a variant of ODK and was wondering if its
possible to deploy ODK on a server apart from the App Engine?

Thanks Ronald for your feedback. All those listed in Enketto have their own
servers but I would prefer a deployment with indivindually owned server

The main ODK documentation is here: http://opendatakit.org/

It includes how to deploy ODK Aggregate using your own Tomcat server.

Community members have also contributed wiki documentation on AWS
deployments

and there is also a VM image that Nafundi maintains for running ODK
Aggregate locally.

All those listed in Enketto have their own servers but I would prefer a
deployment with indivindually owned server

Most of them are Free Open Source, you can download, install and manage on
your own infrastructure. You will have to take care of upgrades,
security.... which might not be a small issue if you do not have the
necessary skills in house.
