When we choose a value and then change it, an extra digit is added to the value. This happens for values <= 10.
We encountered it in the latest version of Collect but it already existed before (our colleague @NicoCen showed it to us yesterday but he had encountered this bug before).

could you tell me what android version that is? It seems like a similar problem to this one which I reported long time ago but it has never been fixed: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/72690635
This is a bug in Android https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/72690635 unfortunately there is no easy way to fix this.
We have just released a new version of ODK Collect (v2022.4.2) which includes a fix for this issue. As I said it was an Android bug so we weren't able to fix it but it was possible to bypass it by changing the order of numbers displayed in the picker. @mathieubossaert please try it and let us know if everything is fine.
