Display table with values from previous responses

Hi All

I need to display a table showing type, quanitity and units of each type
selected in a table form.

E.G. If a respondent selects coke (Type) as one of his drink types in cans
(Units) and claims to drink 6 (Quantity) units I would like to show a table
with type, units and quantity for each drink type he selects.

Is this possible?

Hi Bashir,

The best way to show previous responses by using the output tag.

the patient's name is and his age
is .

I bet you could also use calculates to store the responses in other nodes,
then display those nodes in a read-only widget. Haven't ever tried that
myself, but might be worth looking into.

Hi Yaw

Getting back to this, you mention using the output tag, in what column
would i put the statement you recommend?

We have a questions asking how many units of beer is consumed and what type
of container it was consumed from.

in xforms these questions are expressed as below:

type name
label
select_one container container_beer_home What type of container do you
usually drink beer from? decimal units_beer_home How many units of beer do
you usually consume?

Bashir,

In XLSForm's label column put ${prompt_name} wherever you want the value in
prompt_name to appear.
