Does ODK Collect append /submission to it's submissions?

I'm trying to setup a server to receive ODK submissions at a url that
doesn't end in /submission. ODK Collect (1.1.5 from marketplace) seems to
want to append /submission to my URL no matter what (even if my URL ends in
a / so i get //submission. Nice.)

...can I change this?

Not without making a new build. in 1.1.5 it is hardcoded
