I have a user using a Droid 3 by Motorola It is running Android
2.3.4. They are able to install ODK Collect 1.1.5, but when they go
to collect a photo it crashes. If they skip the photo no problem. We
have tried other camera apps and same issue. Is there anyone using a
Droid 3 with ODK?

andrew,

my guess is that the camera apps you are using doesn't support the
default android command to take pictures. what other camera apps have
you tried?

also, if you can, please get a stack trace (see
http://opendatakit.org/help/faq for instructions) and file a bug at
http://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/issues/list so we make sure to
prevent this bug in 1.1.7.

I going to get my hands on this persons phone soon and will be able to
get a stack trace

Camera Apps Tried:
Sleek Camera
Retro Camera
Pro Paint Camera

The user tried all of these...he is not the most tech guy around...so
I am not sure how well the installs went with these. I hope to get my
hands on his phone this week and will keep you posted.
