Welcome to the ODK forum, @Mor_Gueye! We're glad you're here. When you get a chance, please [introduce yourself on this forum thread](https://forum.getodk.org/t/-/6671). Thanks for adding your profile picture. It helps build community! Questions about how to do something in the app should be posted to #support and not #community.

When calculating durations there are several options:

- You can use [metadata](https://xlsform.org/en/#metadata) to capture `start` and `end` and then calculate the total length in your data processing. Note that if the form is saved and the reopened for review before submission, this will change the `end` time.
- You can use [lightweight timestamping](https://docs.getodk.org/form-logic/#lightweight-timestamping).
- You can use a [form audit log](https://docs.getodk.org/form-audit-log/).
