Enketo: 403 Access Blocked error for OpenStreetMap when using a plain geopoint question

Hi,

We are hosting ODK Central ourselves and are experiencing an issue with ODK Central Web Forms.

We have an XLSForm containing a simple geopoint question. We have not specified any appearance for the geopoint.

For example:

type name label appearance
geopoint location Location

When we open/edit the form in ODK Central Web Forms, a map is displayed and we receive the following error from OpenStreetMap:

403 ā€“ Access blocked
App is not following the tile usage policy of OpenStreetMap's volunteer-run servers.

I have attached a screenshot showing the 403 Access Blocked error.

Any guidance on the expected behavior and recommended configuration would be appreciated.

There was a change in openstreetmap's access policy that caused this for older versions of Enketo on Central. You can address this by opting into ODK Web Forms (https://docs.getodk.org/web-forms-intro/) or by upgrading Central.
