Hi: I want to additionally enter the time similar to entering a date
in a form. Are there any efforts on implementing this? Otherwise what
is the best practice to extend it?

the time widget was been filed as a request

ago. it's on my todo list, but isn't the highest priority.
i've added some information to the bug report that describes how to
build it. it is pretty easy if someone wants to add it and send in a
patch. if you run into any problems implementing it, send a message to
opendatakit-developers@googlegroups.com
