I've got people abroad gathering data for me. Before I left them I checked
whether I could decrypt the data they had gathered so far. I used ODK
briefcase and everything went fine. Now that I've returned home I find I
can no longer decrypt the data: neither the work they've done in the
meantime, or the work I was able to decrypt before. This is quite
problematic. I get the following error:
Where questionnaire_menage_20130607 is the name of the questionnaire.
My guess is that it is related to a recent Java update. I'm now on Version
7 Update 25, I have no idea what I was on before when it worked, but it was
June 30 and I should have been up to date.
It isn't immediately clear to me how I can downgrade, and whether it would
make sense to do so. Any ideas?

Thanks for your quick response. I had already tried your solution, but it
turns out my computer has no less than three Java installation folders. Not
sure why this is, but I changed the files in all of them, and now it works
just fine.
Thanks!
