I see some Python in this forum thread, and as those posts are several years old, I would like to recommend the Python ODK Central API client pyODK that we now maintain.
@Francis_Opiyo If you are specifically looking for the R code, the github project above still has a link to a Central file. It looks like the code got refactored a bit. https://github.com/RHoMIS/rhomis-R-package/blob/main/R/utils-odk-central.R
