On converting an Excel file to XML I am getting a message "duplicate
header" what am i doing wrong! Please help? Am new to ODK will also
appreciate link to any manual!

Where are you doing the conversion? xlsform.opendatakit.org?
formhub.org? Might be best to file an issue at
https://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/issues/list with these details.
If you can, include your OS and browser versions, a screenshot of the
error, and your form.
