Error on initial login

I am using the sign in with Google option on the initial sign-in and all I get is this error:
400. That’s an error.

OpenID auth request contains an unregistered domain: http://odk.twinfallscounty.org/

How do I get this domain registered?

Brian,

To sign in with Google, you need to have Google Apps on your
twinfallscounty.org domain.

If you are setting up ODK Aggregate for the first time, it starts up
"Open" -- just like opendatakit.appspot.com

If you do not get that initial redirect and display page, then you have not
configured your hostname and port correctly, or have not set up your
database correctly (e.g., copied the MySQL Connector/J into the lib folder
of the Tomcat server).

Did you restart your Tomcat ?

Is the URL correct?

Did you say you had a SSL certificate, but have not installed one?

I get the redirect page then it goes straight to the 404 error.

I did re-install everything again from scratch and it works but as soon as
I do the work around for the superuser the program no longer starts on my
Tomcat.
I have restarted it a couple times but it doesn't seem to fix the issue. I
did not have an SSL certificate and really hadn't planned on needing one,
for this project.

And if you use the original ODKAggregate-settings.jar, did it redirect
properly?

If it doesn't then your hostname and port are not set up correctly.

For the username, pick one with only latin-alphabet characters, without
accent marks.

If it still does not work, then send me your ODKAggregate-settings.jar. It
is likely something else is wrong with the edit.

Yes it does redirect properly. I'm not sure what I might be missing in the

Thankyou

It happened for me as well. When I placed edited jar file. It started showing 404. When I reloaded the default jar, it started working again and redirecting.

I dont know whether it was actual solution or not that while editing jar i gave a shorter superUsername, less than 10 characters and replaced the jar. Refreshed the ODKAggregate directory, restarted tomcat and it started working.

I think my instructions may have inserted an extra level of directory in
the zip/jar when it was re-assembled.

To re-assemble it correctly, go to the directory containing the
security.properties file, select-all, then right-click, Send To...
Compressed (zipped) folder.

That should then work.

Here is the edited file for you to look at.

Thankyou

And if you use the original ODKAggregate-settings.jar, did it redirect
properly?

If it doesn't then your hostname and port are not set up correctly.

For the username, pick one with only latin-alphabet characters, without
accent marks.

If it still does not work, then send me your ODKAggregate-settings.jar.
It is likely something else is wrong with the edit.

I get the redirect page then it goes straight to the 404 error.

I did re-install everything again from scratch and it works but as soon
as I do the work around for the superuser the program no longer starts on
my Tomcat.

I have restarted it a couple times but it doesn't seem to fix the issue.
I did not have an SSL certificate and really hadn't planned on needing one,
for this project.

If you are setting up ODK Aggregate for the first time, it starts up
"Open" -- just like opendatakit.appspot.com

If
you do not get that initial redirect and display page, then you have
not configured your hostname and port correctly, or have not set up your
database correctly (e.g., copied the MySQL Connector/J into the lib
folder of the Tomcat server).

Did you restart your Tomcat ?

Is the URL correct?

Did you say you had a SSL certificate, but have not installed one?
