Error: Problem with JavaRosa Parsing Form: org.opendatakit.aggregate.exception.ODKIncompleteSubmissionData: Javarosa failed to construct a FormInstance. Is this an XForm definition?

Hi to all,

This is my first month uploading data from ODK Collect onto formhub and I have been encountering some problems. I would really appreciate your support.

We had an internet problem and instead of sending the forms via Wifi or 3g, the Xml forms were copied to a computer to later be able to upload the data to formhub.

I have installed Java, and ODK aggregate keeps on giving the "Error: Problem with JavaRosa Parsing Form: org.opendatakit.aggregate.exception.ODKIncompleteSubmissionData: Javarosa failed to construct a FormInstance. Is this an XForm definition?" every time I try to add a new form to it.

I used ODK validate, and the outcome is the:form has errors. However if I try to upload directly from mobile device to formhub I have no problem.

This is all very new to me so your help will be highly appreciated.

If ODK Validate says the form has errors, then you will not be able to
upload the form to ODK Aggregate.

Please verify that you are using the very latest tools:

New features are always being added that, if used, will prevent the form
from being loaded into an older version of the tool.

And if this all checks out, if you need to manually submit filled-in forms
to ODK Aggregate:

Log in as a user with Site Admin or Form Management privileges.

Then navigate to the Form Management / Submission Admin tab

Use the "Manually Upload Submission Data" button to upload the filled-in
form file to ODK Aggregate.

i.e., you cannot use the "Add New Form" button -- that adds a new form
definition to ODK Aggregate; it will not upload a filled-in form.
