1. What is the issue? Please be detailed.
We're having trouble displaying options for dropdown select_one / select_multiple from external filename.csv in our forms.
The external choice-list CSV has clearly defined headers for the 'list_name', 'name', and labels in two languages 'label::English (en)', 'label::Hindi (hi)' (see attached screenshot).
Once this external choice list is uploaded to ODK Central and tested, we're only shown the options for the English language selections, and not the other (in this case, Hindi) language when the form's language option is switched (see attached screenshots of Preview forms).
Is there a particular field that needs to be altered for this to display properly in single/multiple select from external fields?
We do not seem to have this issue when the choices are loaded to the XLSX form itself, only when the selection is made from an external CSV.
2. What steps can we take to reproduce this issue?
Try a simple external select with two languages and switch between them to see if the options change.
3. What have you tried to fix the issue?
We've tried changing label names in both the XLSX forms and the external CSV. We've also tried setting default language options to match the secondary language, but that does not seem to have had any effect.
