Hi list,
I have a group with a number of questions in field list appearance. One of
the question has a Other option that will show a text field question if the
option option is chosen. It works fine on Enketo but not on Collect. So I
found this https://opendatakit.org/help/form-design/workarounds/
Is there any other way to get around this other than removing the field
list appearance for my group of questions or turn on and off the screen of
the tablet/phone?
Also notice that it does not work for calculated fields as well while the
questions are in field list appearance for a group of questions.
Any help, pointers appreciated

Move the dependent question out of the field-list. There is no other
workaround.
