Filter out selected options from multiple selected question

Hi, I need your help. I have a multiple select Question and I want the only selected options to appear in the next questions and choose one relevant response, here is an multiple select example.
Qn1. In the last 6 months, has your family badly affected by the following events?
a. Robbery/theft
b.Severe water shortage
c.Failure of family business
d.Fire in the house/business/property
Qn2. Of the bad events that have affected your family, which one was the most severe?
Qn3. Of the bad events that have affected your family, which was the second most severe?
