Hae guys i am doing a project and it requires collection of thumb prints. Is any scanner compatible with huawei tablets or any application I can use?

Currently, it is not easy to do fingerprint scanning on Android.
Either the devices are expensive or require writing drivers or are
only available on one device.

Hi Guys,

The Futronic FS80 Fingerprint Scanner is a USB device that sells for about
$65. It worked well for us in the field using a PC based program while
conducting HIV tests in the countryside in Uganda. I am attaching the
android driver. Our board chairman set up a system that uses a fingerprint
scan in place of a medical card to identify patients at Bwindi Community
Hospital in Western Uganda at considerable cost savings (and no lost cards).
