"Get Blank Forms: Form listing failed"

Having an issue on some devices with Get Blank Form

We have survey hosted on https server at our university.

30 projects so all running well.

One user for one specific project has reported that when they try and get blank forms they get the following error:

Form listing failed. Invalid server URL (no hostname): https://maltb_slh.odk.lshtm.ac.uk/formList"

I've tried on my own device (different country) with same settings they are using and it works fine.

He says he can access the server on his mobile via the browser.

Any thoughts????

Michael

Any suggestions?

Any thoughts anyone? Mitch/Yaw any suggestions gratefully received.

Hi Michael,

Have you tried a reboot? Is the user absolutely sure that the URL was
typed correctly? Can they try a different connection (WiFi only then
try 3G only) to see if that makes a difference? Any chance there is
some proxy (you see these a lot at airports and coffee shops) sitting
between the user and server?

Its weird..

It works for me in UK and US.
It works for a colleague of his in US.

He can access an alternative LSHTM ODK server behind the same SSL certificate.
He has tried a clean install, he has tried reinstalling android, has tried a WiFI and a 3G connection.

Really got no idea now....

Weird indeed. What was the URL of the alternate server? Did it have an
underscore in the name?
