Get/Calculate name of photo

Hi All

Is it possible to add a calculation field to calculate the name of the
photograph in addition to the link to the photo?

Thanks
Bash

I don't understand the question.

The name of captured media files is chosen by the system and cannot be
specified by the user.

Are you referring to ODK Collect or another tool?

Sorry let me rephrase. I would like to have the name of the file as a row
in the exported csv. I assumes it would be achievable via a calculate or
other function.

Bashir,

As Mitch said, the photo/audio/video image captured by the device is
determined b the device. I've recently completed a large survey capturing
multiple photos. The best way, that I have identified, to manage and
analyze the photos on the back end that is through group renaming of the
photos, where photos took a unique name concatenated from key meta data
from the data set. This link
https://benholland.me/tutorials/2011/11/11/rename-multiple-files-using-excel-in-windows.html
provides a clear guide. This assumes you download the data via ODK
briefcase, accessing the data from aggregate only provides links (useful in
google fusion tables, but not offline).
