Has anyone ever tried to create a Google App Engine account using a Ugandan
MTN phone number?
Am trying to do so with my number: +256782380638 but constantly getting the
same error message: "An error has occurred while sending. Please try
again."

according to http://code.google.com/appengine/kb/supported_carriers.html#U,
mtn uganda is supported. they may be having some glitch. report it at
https://appengine.google.com/waitlist/sms_issues and if you don't hear
back in a day or two, let me know and i'll see if i can ask someone
internally.
