Google App Engine New Application Creation is disabled

Hi All,

I've previously set up a practice google app engine instance with my own e mail. Now I'm trying to set one up for a project. I created a new google account for the project, and tried to use it to create a new app engine instance. However, instead of there being a 'create an application' button, it says 'New Application Creation is disabled'. Anyone come across this problem, and how do I fix it?

Thanks

Colin

Try doing this within an Incognito or Private browser window. It is likely
that you are logged into multiple gmail accounts at the same time.

Google arbitrarily forbids certain actions when it detects that.

Hi Mitch,

thanks, I tried this and it now works. I think also I was working from some instructions from a previous iteration of Google Aggregate (I last did a practice run on this back in May). Back then I had been able to create a new application direct on the App Engine page, but this time I had to use google developers console (if that makes sense?)

Thanks as always for the support

Colin

Have you configured a service account for publishing:
https://opendatakit.org/use/aggregate/oauth2-service-account/

It looks like you may not have granted the necessary privileges (step 5).
