Hi?
It's my first time colecting gps data. I have run a trial and exported the
collected data in MSExcel

The following gps variables were produced;

gps:0.3079183416468655 32.56167512924479 1201.573912104059 6.0

\_gps\_latitude: 0.307918341646865
\_gps\_longitude: 32.5616751292447
\_gps\_altitude: 1201.57391210405
\_gps\_precision: 6

Do I need to do something to make excel record the coordinates in the
'right' format? The current number format is General

How do I get the gps values into a gps application/software?

Thank you for sharing thoughts on ODK. I have found it extremely helpful
in learning ODK Collect.

Hi Louis,

That is the correct format. GPS is latitude, longitude, altitude and
precision. How you move that into your GPS software depends on that
software. Most allow you to import a CSV/Excel and let you select the
lat/lon columns.
