I am designing a system for use in supervision of health facilities. It
would be ideal if the supervisor could both upload the supervision data but
could still view the older completed forms on the tablet the next time he
visits the facility. I note that the completed and uploaded xml files are
still on the tablet after uploading, but can't be opened in ODK Collect. Is
there a way to visualize these? (Read-only would be best).
In ODK Collect, you can go to Send Finalized Forms, hit the menu
button and View Sent and Unsent Forms. This option is there for
debugging and it's not read-only so you can definitely screw up your
data if you aren't careful.

Thank you in advance for replying.
The part that does not work is: I can not edit the instance. I see the instance in the list but when I select it, it want to sent the instance again. But I was meaning to want to do is to edit the instance and after that submit again to aggregate? Is that possible?
By the way we have one working survey .. we will conduct the research in july.

So actually my question would be how can I edit the instances on the tablet that has already been finalized and sent. Because during the survey revision by the 2nd line edition they realised some question where missed or wrongly filled, the need exist to edit the finalized and sent already instance of the survey?
Thanks in advance

I have the same problem.
But When I hit menu and try to view sent items .. the sent items are not shown.
I have the new version of ODK installed on my tablet.
Please can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

If the form was successfully sent to ODK Aggregate, any attempt to modify
the form and re-submit it to ODK Aggregate will be rejected.
Other form developers have added a required 'Enter supervisor approval
code' question as the last question in their survey.
The data collectors do not know that approval code, and save all their
forms as incomplete.
At the end of the day, the supervisor reviews all incomplete forms,
verifies their completeness / correctness, and for those that are complete,
enters the approval code and marks that form as complete.
As a final step, the supervisor submits all the finalized forms (the ones
they have approved / finalized) to the ODK Aggregate server.

What version of ODK Collect are you running? From the Main Menu, go
into Send Finalized Forms. Now hit Menu (looks like three vertical
dots)? On my device, I get menu that says General Settings and Change
View. When I tap Change View, I can Show Sent and Unsent Forms.
What part of the above steps don't work for you?
