How can we set a default value of integer variable in Excel?

Hi there,

I have this variable that I put in the excel form.

type name label
integer no_of_child No of your child

Is there any possibility that we can set a default value of this variable
to 0? Thanks.

Add another column called "default"

type name default label integer nr_children 1 Number of
children?
For more information regarding xlsForm syntax, read

Hi,

I try to put the default column and when I put
in http://opendatakit.org/use/xlsform/ to generate the xml form and upload
to Google Aggregate, I got this error: Error: Problem with JavaRosa Parsing
Form: org.javarosa.xform.parse.XFormParseException: XML Syntax Error at
Line: 3, Column: 102!

Please see the attached Excel file.
Thanks for your support.

Can you try again?

I just tested your version and it works. Also attached is another revised
version that works fine.

I'm fairly certain you are using the 1.1. preview version of Aggregate and
are encountering issue 596.
Upgrade to 1.2.
