How to get started

Hi,

I'm new to ODK. I have downloaded the source code. But not being able to
compile it.

I'll like to know if there's a guide on how to get started to compile and
modify ODK collect.

Start by setting up your development environment for the Android tutorial:

The most recent release now requires both the ODK Collect project and the
playservices project (
http://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/source/checkout?repo=playservices ) in
the workspace.
