How to know number of submissions

Dear Team,

Is there any way to count number of submissions in ODK Aggregate?

Thanks
Sel

Aggregate UI does not display the information because google app
engine does not provide a api/programmatic way to find out. (If it did
we would add the functionality).

You can use the google app engine admin console to get an idea, if
using mysql/posgres you can simply query that information from you
database.

More detail on this:

If you go to the dashboard, select the "Datastore Statistics" link on the
left sidebar.

In the "Display statistics for Kind:" drop-down, choose the kind
corresponding to your form id.
The statistics will then give you the total number or records stored for
that form, the properties (fields) in that form, and other interesting
usage information. Note that properties beginning with underscore ("_")
are metadata fields used by Aggregate; the properties defined in your form
will not begin with underscores.

The Kind is generally of the form "opendatakit." + FORM_ID + "_CORE"

Where FORM_ID is your form id, changed to be all capitals, and with any
non-alphanumeric characters replaced with underscores. If this is very
long, (e.g., because your form id was in the form of a URI), it will be
abbreviated into a somewhat garbled mess. You can always select different
kinds ending with "_CORE" and see whether you recognize the fieldnames in
your form.

NOTE: since the Datastore Viewer and Datastore Statistics pages are not
operable when you've exceeded your quota (and don't have billing), it is
likely that you are being charged for any datastore accesses required to
produce these reports.
