How to take field pictures during GeoTrace

Dear all developers and users,

I am designing a survey form in excel, and one request is that the user is able to take several field pictures during progress of a GeoTrace. In my understanding at current version of ODK Collect 1.x, an Image widget must be before or after the Location widget, but I want Image widget can be triggered during recording a GeoTrace, especially in Manual mode.

Does anyone know how to get this to work?

currently it's not possible in ODK Collect. You can create a topic in https://forum.getodk.org/c/features and describe your needs. Then if it's accepted we can implement a requested feature.
