Image files in lieu of text

Hi all,

I am using the XLSForm tool on ODK to create my forms. I was wondering
how to set up the Excel file so that an image is shown in lieu of text
for a question prompt, a choice, or a hint. Are there any good
resources for how to do this? I found the description under "media" on
the ODK Form Design Tutorial very limiting.

Thanks!
Alison

Hey Alison,

I agree that the documentation is lacking. We have a very small team
and only have so much time.

I outlined the steps for multimedia forms at
https://groups.google.com/group/opendatakit-developers/browse_thread/thread/2e54c8a02da10c4b
a few days ago. We will also be adding a section on
http://opendatakit.org/help that will be more in-depth. I'm hoping we
can get to that this week.

As always, we do need help from the community. If someone has written
up a guide for multimedia forms, we are very glad to link to it.

Thanks so much, Yaw! Of course, I understand that you are doing what
you can. I appreciate the support!

We are still adding to this, but you can find information about
image-based forms at http://opendatakit.org/help/image-based-forms/
