Impact of 'delete after send' option

Hello.
I've done several tests using delete-after-send option in the admin menu.
Whatever this option is checked or not, the behaviour seems to be still the same:

  • I complete a form and save it
  • I send this form
  • This form is still in 'delete saved forms' and no more in 'edit a saved form'.

Thanks for your feedback.

To complete my first message what we want to do is to be able to view or maybe edit a form that is already sent.
Many thanks.

Revising an already-sent form is not supported, at least with the core ODK
Collect and other tools.

The 1.x tools are a paper-based survey replacement.

They were not designed to support updating of existing data (e.g., repeat
tracking visits). The 2.0 tools are designed with that usage in mind.

··· ----------------- I have created an issue for the delete-after-send observation: https://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/issues/detail?id=1144

I haven't had time to reproduce it and it will likely not get fixed anytime
soon.
